A fond farewell to David C-J

This week saw the end of an era at a farewell dinner for David Carter-Johnson which gave Trustees the opportunity to thank David, (pictured centre front row), for his commitment, enthusiasm and boundless energy that he has brought to FTCT. Appointed as Trustee in 2003, then Chair in 2008, David was responsible for the re-invigoration of the Board over the last six years in this role and the drive to re-brand the charity in 2010. Meg Lustman, Chief Executive Officer, Hobbs, (pictured right, front row), has succeeded as Chair and together with the Board of Trustees and Anna Pangbourne and the FTCT team, will continue to raise awareness of the support we can give to children whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile industry. (Also pictured: Sue Shipley (left, front row), left to right, top row: Mike Trotman, Anne Horton, Amit Chowdhury, Anna Pangbourne, Dave Shepherd and Eric Musgrave). Bow ties worn by all, in honour of David C-J’s every day neck accessory!
Thank you, David!
