Parallel London – an event with a difference
Were you inspired by the World Para Athletes Championships recently? Well, now it’s your turn.
FTCT are calling out to all children, their families, supporters and volunteers – disabled and able-bodied- to participant in the Parallel London fun run on Sunday 3 September 2017 at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
This event celebrates differences and helps remove barriers and dispel myths – as well as being huge fun for EVERYONE!
We’d love families to join us on the day to take part in this event and raise funds for FTCT families. Just take a look at some of the families we’ve been able to support.
What is Parallel London?
This a celebratory event hosted by Parallel London for the second year. It’s a fully inclusive multi-distance sponsored fun run for all ages and abilities. You can complete 100m, 5k or 10k or there is a unique Super Sensory 1k course. You can take part with mobility aids and if needed, you can bring a ‘buddy’ to accompany you around the course. Click here for more information.
There is also the free Family Festival that has attracted over 5k people. It will highlight the coolest and best entertainment across a range of areas, like family, food and drink, community, mobility and lots more. It’s a great atmosphere, so why not take part in one of the challenges or just come along and enjoy the day. Check out more information on our website, and then book your places.
