A rainbow of hope for Loughborough families
Working in partnership with other charities and organisations, helps us to reach more families and for everyone here at FTCT, that’s our goal!
As part of our outreach, Anna visited Rainbows Hospice in Loughborough, last week. This amazing hospice provides specialist respite, palliative and end of life care to children and young people with life limiting or life-threatening conditions and support to their families and friends.
Karen Moulin, Family Support Worker showed Anna round – the dedication, friendliness and care of the staff was inspiring. This was followed by a meeting with Karen, Family Support Worker, Jo, Head of Family Support and Outreach, together with the lovely Family Support Team. 300 families use the hospice every year – by working in close partnership with the Family Support Team, FTCT will be able to provide grants for items such as mobility equipment, sensory toys and more. FTCT can also consider additional support for siblings.
If you know a charity or hospice near you that supports children, we’d love to hear from you, to look at the possibility of working in partnership with them, too, please email firstname.lastname@example.org / T: 020-3667-7882
