Cheer along FTCT’s London Marathon Team
This Sunday, four extremely energetic and admirably brave runners will be taking part in the London Marathon 2014, in support of FTCT.
Calvin, Felicity (Topman), Rachel (Hobbs), pictured right, and FTCT Ambassador Brendan Dorrian (Fawazal Hokair Fashion) have spent the last 6 months relentlessly training. Through freezing cold mornings and soaking wet evenings, they have given their all to prepare for this epic 26 mile race.
They’ve even managed to find time in their gruelling training schedule to collectively raise a whopping £9,000 (so far), through pub-quizzes, bake sales and the support of their friends and families. What super stars!
We can’t wait to cheer them along the course this weekend and invite all parents, carers, beneficiaries and supporters to join us. Anna and Jill will be meeting outside Bermondsey tube station at 11:30am (Sunday 13th April), so please come along to join us! Look out for the FTCT pink button flag, which marks the meeting spot.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it on the day, you can leave your well-wishes and words of encouragement in the comments box below or on the FTCT Facebook page.
There’s still time to sponsor our runners too, via their individual giving pages, listed below. Remember, all funds raised go towards supporting the education and wellbeing of vulnerable children, whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile industry, our industry!
