Down to a tee, at the Luke Roper Golf Day
Yesterday, FTCT were delighted to be chosen charity at the first ever Luke Roper Golf Day, hosted by designer menswear fashion label, Luke, at Calderfields Golf & Country Club, Walsall, West Midlands.
Teeing off at 11:30am, the day included at day of Golf craziness for 150 guests from companies including 7 clothing, Harpers, Cockney Rebel and Bentalls and celebrities including DJ Spoony, all of whom had braved the rain, to take part in this wonderful event.
More guests arrived in the evening, for entertainment including a mini casino, where revellers could try their luck on the blackjack and roulette tables, with all proceeds from sales of chip tokens going to FTCT. Over on the FTCT stand, we held our own free prize draw, giving guests the chance to win an Apple iPad, generously donated by Arcadia.
The event was a huge success for FTCT, giving us the perfect opportunity to raise the profile of the charity, among more than 250 employees from the UK menswear fashion industry, who otherwise may not have been aware of the support we can give.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Luke’s creative director, Luke Roper along with Martin, Sarah and the whole team from Luke for making us feel so welcome and for making us a part of their special day and of course to everyone who donated on the night.
