The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay started last weekend and we are very proud to say that on Sunday, 17 year old FTCT beneficiary Grace, was one of the 8,000 inspirational people chosen to carry the Olympic Flame as it journeys across the UK.

Nominated to take part in the relay by her best friend, it was Grace’s moment to shine, as she carried the torch along it’s journey through the town of Paignton.

Proud Mum, Liz, was on the sidelines, cheering Grace on with the rest of the crowd. Liz said after the event- “I really believe that the help and support over the years from FTCT has contributed towards her being the person she is today that helped get her nominated so for that I thank you so much.”

We would like to say a big Congratulations to Grace for being chosen to be part of such a historic event and to mum, Liz, for allowing us to share in this momentous occasion.
