FTCT- coming to a trade show near you, this autumn!

Friday, August 3rd, 2012 | Posted in Blog, Events

Our bags are packed and we’re raring to go for what will be FTCT’s busiest Autumn ever! FTCT will be chosen charity at no less than 6 industry trade shows including, Pure London, BITA September Showcase, BBEH, The Schoolwear Show, Textile Forum and the brand new trade show, Fast Fashion Tour, all of which take place between August-October 2012.

Not only that, but FTCT have been named beneficiary for a fabulous charity auction, hosted by chic furniture brand Natuzzi, taking place on Wednesday 22nd August and the wonderful Hobbs Charity Week, this September.

We’ll be rounding the season off with our favourite FTCT event, the FTCT parents and carers feedback session, giving us the chance to meet a group of wonderful FTCT parents and carers, getting their feedback on all aspects of our charity. We can’t wait!

As if all that wasn’t exciting enough..we’ve just found out we will be chosen charity again at this year’s Drapers Awards, taking place on Wednesday 21st November, at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel!

With only 2 full time members of staff here at FTCT, we are always on the look our for enthusiastic volunteers to help at FTCT events. Whether it’s giving out information about FTCT to visitors at trade shows, or helping us fundraise at the Drapers Awards-FTCT needs you! Interested? Then please hop over to our volunteering page and find out how you can get involved…

In the meantime, don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and sign up for the FTCT newsletter, for full updates and pictures from each of the events.

Pure London’s Event Manager, Sarah Lawrence commented, “We are delighted to be joining forces with FTCT again this year.  The charity carries out some exceptional work helping the children of people working in the fashion industry. It is important we support the charity to help them continue to grow and raise awareness from within the industry itself. All proceeds from this year’s Pure London event guide will go to FTCT – so please do give generously.”
