FTCT parents and carers have their say, at another fantastic feedback session
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our fabulous parents and carers to the FTCT office, for our bi-annual feedback session-our favourite event of the FTCT calendar! Click here to read our blog post from April’s event…
During this informal 2 hour session, parents and carers gave feedback on their experiences of FTCT, from the application process to our promotional material, to tell us what we do well and what they think we can do better.
It’s no surprise these feedback sessions are one of our favourite events of the year. Not only do they give us the unique chance to hear what our parents and carers feel about the charity and its processes, to ensure we are giving all our existing and future parents and carers the best level of support we can, but they also offer a great opportunity parents and carers to meet each other and share their stories and experiences.
One parent, Lorraine, commented on the session- “It was good meeting other parents and carers and it made all the difference that we each were able to spend as much or as little time as each of us could spare to the meeting.”
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to yesterday’s session, some of whom had travelled cross country to join us for the day.
It was so lovely for us to meet so many of you for the first time and we look forward to keeping you up to date with all the changes we make based on your feedback!
Our next parents/carers feedback session will be on Wednesday 10th April and we would love all our parents and carers to join us. If you think you might be able to join us for the session, all you have to do is drop a quick email to Francesca on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add you to the list.
Please Note: The wonderful Francesca FTCT Grants Co-ordinator, will sadly be leaving the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust at the end of December. Her replacement, the lovely Karen, will be coming on board in early January 2013 and will be the main point of contact for all matters surrounding existing grants and grants enquiries after this date. We would like to wish Francesca a huge good luck as she embarks on a year long, round the world trip and give a very warm welcome to Karen, as she joins the FTCT team.
