We are delighted to be the chosen charity for this year’s Drapers Digital Awards being held on April 30th at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. This means that FTCT is part of a trio of industry awards: the upcoming Drapers Digital AwardsDrapers Independent Awards held on the 16th September and Drapers Awards on the 26th November.

400 guests will be attending this black tie event to celebrate the achievements of key innovators who have utilised the application of digital technology within the retail sector. Guests include big-name brands such as Primark, Topshop, Harrods and House of Fraser, and awards include ‘Best Customer Experience’, ‘Best Tech Start Up’, ‘Best Use of Content’ and ‘Best Multi-Channel Retailer’.

FTCT will be attending with our wonderful volunteers from the Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) who have offered to give us a hand. For a small donation of £10, guests will have the opportunity to win some wonderful prizes. One person from each table will win a bottle of champagne, kindly sourced by Ryan Becker, FTCT trustee and head of presentation for M&S. Also, one lucky winner in the room will have the chance to win a luxury break at the prestigious Babington House in Somerset worth over £750, generously donated by David Shepherd, FTCT trustee and chief operating officer for Arcadia.babington-house-1

Here in the office, we’re all busy preparing for the night. The generosity of our trustees, Drapers and the volunteers from the FRA has been fantastic; Drapers Digital is set to be a wonderful event that will not only celebrate the accomplishments in the sector, but go towards supporting children and young people of employees in the industry.
