FTCT raises £27,000 at the Drapers Awards
Last night, our charity was delighted to be back at the Drapers Awards, hosted at Old Billingsgate and compèred by the gorgeous Joanna Lumley. The event brought together movers and shakers from the fashion trade, to recognise the best of the British fashion retail market. Our huge congratulations to all the winners!
We’re also celebrating here in the office – last night just over £27,000 was raised for FTCT! This is the highest we’ve raised in the last six years! 100% of these funds will go towards supporting children whose parent works in any aspect of the UK fashion and textile industry.
Our huge thanks to Keely Stocker, Editor, Drapers, Laura, EMAP, our outstanding volunteers from Winchester University and FRA London (pictured) and our generous prize donors. A special mention too, to Karen (Mum of Mia) for letting us share a video of their FTCT story with guests, kindly presented on the night by her employer Amanda Seabourne, Damsel In A Dress.
