FTCT visits charity partners in Leicester
Friday, November 14th, 2014 | Posted in Blog
Yesterday, FTCT made a visit to Leicester to catch up with friends old and new from the charities we have been working with for the last three years. Through our charity links, we’re able to reach out to more families, to let them know about the grants we can give. Thank you to Gavin George, Secretary to Jon Ashworth, MP who will sending our new poster out to 50 schools, plus Agencies and Support Services. Also to Rebecca Lopez and her colleagues at STAR Leicester, a housing-related support service for people living in Leicester, who’ve been great at referring families to FTCT over the last year. Kelly Smith, Get MoneyWise, a money advice service, Amajeet from the Shama Women’s Centre, Lorraine Clay from Sure Start Centre, Highfields, who will be talking to all centres across Leicester and finally Nicola Clark, from Home Start, Leicester who will be sending our details to all 300 Home Start Schemes across the UK. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Helen Howe, Helen Howe Atelier who kindly invited FTCT to
speak at her Fashion Network Event. We look forward
to being back in Leicester again, soon!
If you know a Sure Start Centre in your area, or any other charity working with vulnerable children or families, why not let them know about FTCT. Posters and further information available. Please call Anna on 020-7232-1876.
