Last night saw the good and the great from across the fashion industry rub shoulders at the annual Drapers awards.
We were honoured to take centre stage at the event as we officially stepped out for the first time as the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust.
David Shepherd, Topman MD and one of our trustees, gave a fantastic speech as our new logo and website were unveiled.
We were also delighted to have the help of 28 enthusiastic volunteers from the Fashion Retail Academy who sold scratchcards for our charity prize draw at the awards.
The total amount raised at the event was an incredible £13,025! This will be able to help several children around the UK, whose parents work in fashion and textile sectors.
I would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the event a great success, from the staff at Drapers to the student volunteers from the Fashion Retail Academy and the trustees of FTCT for all their support too.
