Calvin on one of his epic training runs

Calvin Baillie, decided he needed a challenge in 2014. Something to really push his running efforts to the limit, while raising money for a worthy cause at the same time. As soon as he heard about the FTCT Virgin London Marathon team, through his job, as an Assistant Buyer at Top Man’s London HQ, his search was over. He signed up on the spot and launched his training schedule the following week!

From London to New York, Calvin has been posting live photos and updates for his supporters on his fundraising page, as he pounds streets (and sidewalks) in pursuit of his Marathon dream- raising £3,000 for vulnerable UK children.

Feeling inspired? If like Calvin you want to do something different in 2014 and be part of the solution for vulnerable children whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile, please get in touch.

You can either pick an event in your local area or sign up to one of our named events; like our Super Hero run, in May. (Yes you really do get to dress up as Superman or Batwoman with thousands of other charity runners!)

We will be here to support you every step of the way, from helping you set up your very own online fundraising page, to giving tips on how to best reach your sponsorship goal.

So what are you waiting for? Simply email your name and contact details to fundraising@ftct.org.uk and we will be in touch to get you started.
