YouMia2 may have seen that FTCT visited Louie recently, to take photos for last week’s FTCT presentation at the Drapers Independents Awards. Another grant beneficiary we also visited is 5 year old Mia.

Mia has Microcephaly which means that her development is delayed. Mia’s Mum, Karen, has worked in fashion all of her working life and currently works for Damsel in a Dress. She applied for a grant from FTCT to help with the cost of specialist equipment and physiotherapy for Mia.
Karen says:

‘Waiting Mia33for help from other support services can mean that precious time in a child’s development is lost. Getting the grant from FTCT was so quick, they can be approved in just 14 days. I can now focus better at work, knowing that I am doing everything I can for Mia. ‘

FTCT loved meeting Mia and hearing about how the grant has helped both her and her family, we’re looking forward to sharing her story in future presentations!

If you know a child, like Mia, who could benefit from specialist equipment or therapy, FTCT might be able to help. Give Emma a call on 0300 123 9002 or email
