John is 13 years old and lives with his mum, Lisa and his brother James and sister Sarah. Lisa worked in the fashion and textile industry until 2007 when the company she was working for closed. After being severely bullied at school FTCT supported John with a grant, enabling him to continue his learning in a safe environment, through a home internet school. Corah, Hayden & Sadie
Siblings Corah, 16yrs and Hayden, 12yrs live with their mum, Sadie, who previously worked in an independent fashion boutique. Sadie was was recently diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer and sadly her illness is terminal. Martha & Deborah
Martha, 6yrs lives with her mother Deborah, who runs her own clothing manufacturing company. FTCT awarded a grant to pay for an extra 2 hours home tutoring for Martha, who suffers from Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.

Louie, 2yrs, son of Rebecca an employee at the high street brand Next. FTCT awarded a grant to pay for Auditory Verbal Therapy sessions for the next 3 years, teaching Louie, who was born severely death, to communicate without the use of hearing aids.

Thomas, 10 yrs, has suffered from a complicated mix of health issues including epilepsy since he was one year old. Thomas’ mum Sam, an employee at Debenhams, saw one of our posters on her noticeboard at work and gave us a call, to ask for help funding a specialist trike for Thomas. Read more »
