We're a small charity that helps children of parents or carers who work in UK fashion and textiles. Getting help from FTCT is really simple- all you need to do is just give us a call.
Call us on 020 7170 4117 or email anna@ftct.org.uk
How do I apply?
“to any parent thinking of applying to FTCT, I would say just give FTCT a ring for a chat and explain your situation, I have found them all so welcoming.”
Getting a grant for your child from the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust couldn’t be simpler. Let us guide you through the application process step by step:
Step 1
Possibly the biggest step of them all, getting in touch.
Either give Karen a call on 020 7170 4117 or complete our simple online contact form, telling us when and how you would like to be contacted.
Step 2
Karen will have a chat with you, to talk about your situation and to find out if we might be able to help. If we are not able to help you, Karen will try to point you towards someone who can.
Step 3
If after speaking to us, we think that we might be able to help, Karen will send you an application form to fill in.
We know what you are thinking, trust us, no one likes filling in forms, but we will try and make it as simple as possible and Karen will be on hand to guide you through the whole process. Click here to read our top ten tips when applying for grants.
We won’t be able to issue a grant without a completed application form, so stick with it, just think of what a difference the grant could make to your child.
Step 4
You are nearly there, just one more step.
Once all of your documents have been submitted, Karen will write up a proposal of your case, removing all names and any personal details before passing it on a small and select group of our trustees, who have been specially chosen to review all applications and make the final decision.
We don’t want to keep you waiting; once all the supporting documents have been received we aim to be in touch with the parent or carer within 2 weeks, in most cases.
The easiest way to find out if we can help your child, is to pick up the phone and give us a call on 020 7170 4117 or click on get in touch to contact us online.
