Hobbs Charity Week 2013 kicks off with the Ilkley Moore trek
Throughout October 2013, retail teams at high street fashion giant Hobbs, will be dusting off their sponsorship forms and taking part in the second FTCT Hobbs Charity Week, raising money for vulnerable children whose parents work in our industry. With over 40 stores participating across the UK, we will be sharing their wonderful achievements with you here, on the FTCT blog.
To kick start the week on Sunday 20th October, Alana Mazza Hobbs’ Retail Operations Director and the team from Hobbs Leeds, made an epic sponsored trek across the wild (and very windy) Ilkley Moore. The team battled their way across the 8 mile stretch of open mooreland, to raise just over £500 for FTCT.
We caught up with Alana to congratulate her and the team on their amazing achievement. Alana told us, “I thought I would start charity week by leading by example. We had a great day! My legs are aching so we much this morning!”
