Joining Make it British for Leicester Business Week
What classifies a product as Made in Britain and what is the best way to promote your British brand? Kate Hills, Make it British (pictured) and Adam Mansell (UKFT) were answering these and other burning questions at a special one day conference today, as part of Leicester Business Week.
Hosted at De Montford University, FTCT was invited to exhibit at the show, to talk about the financial support our grants can offer to employees across the British manufacturing industry – from design, to production, distribution and more.
Bumping into familiar faces like Sue Tilley (LLEP), Fiona Lambert (previously ASDA) and new faces like Pankaj Patel, International GM for Marks and Spencer (pictured with Anna), it’s been a great day, furthering our links with the Leicestershire fashion and textile community.
Next stop: Anna and Jill from the FTCT team will be presenting to call centre staff at the NEXT Enderby office, followed by meetings with the Rainbow Trust and a coffee catc up with families at Boden, recently supported by an FTCT grant! Photos coming soon.
