Meet our FTCT Santas…
Christmas is coming up fast and while your minds may be focused on buying presents and scrummy roast turkey, here at FTCT, we are looking forward to running with our Santa team, in the Do It For Charity Santa Run.
With more than 25 runners already confirmed and more joining the team every day, we thought we’d introduce you to some of our wonderful Santa runners, to find out why they have chosen to take part in this fun, festive event.
The run takes place on Sunday 8th December so there’s still time for you to show your support and sponsor your favourite Santa.

Hannah, Keri, Iain, Candice, Liam, Kate, Rob, Leanne and Emma (pictured above) from the Pentland team are willing and ready to, in their own words, “make fools of our selves running through a Central London park dressed in Santa costumes, but if it helps just one child achieve their dream, we think it’s worth it. Because that’s what Christmas is all about!”
Stephanie & Reuben Miles
FTCT beneficiary Reuben is running with his mum Stephanie. In his own words, ‘This is our way of saying thank you, and helping to make a difference for other children who may need similar support in their lives.’
This will be the second year that students from the FRA have taken part in the Santa Run on behalf of FTCT. Always bundles of energy, we’re sure they’re already planning creative ways to raise sponsorship among their classmates.
It’s that crazy time of year when I’ll be stuffing myself with turkey and pudding. So as a prelude to my ‘New-Year get-in-shape’ exercise goal I’m running a 10Km fun run dressed in a Santa suit to raise much needed funds for this worthy charity.
FTCT Director Anna Pangbourne is donning her running shoes for the second year in a row. This year’s she has managed to convince her dad John to join the challenge too!
