Meet Rosie – Marketing and Communications Manager at FTCT

Hello! My name’s Rosie and I am the Marketing & Communications Manager here at FTCT. I’m going to be a part of the FTCT team for just a year while Jill is on maternity leave but I’m very excited to get stuck in. If you’d like to say a more informal ‘hello’, it’s me you can chat to on the FTCT Facebook or Twitter pages!
Here’s a little more about me…
In 10 words or less, tell us what you do at FTCT.
Write words, take pictures and tell stories to promote FTCT.
What makes you passionate about FTCT?
I run a craft blog and have previously worked in fashion retail so I have good knowledge of fashion and textiles! The fact that FTCT is such a unique charity, exclusive to the industry, is something that I feel really proud to be a part of. Hearing the stories of how FTCT has helped children and their families really motivates me to spread the word even further!
What is the best part of your job?
I’m lucky enough to be able to go to some of the more ‘glittery’ events that we attend, like the Drapers Awards where we are the chosen charity. It’s really fun to think about how to get our charity message out to different audiences or individuals. I also love hearing the success stories of children we help, it gives me a real boost knowing that every single leaflet, advert or blog post brings us a step closer to reaching a child who needs our help.
