Putting down roots with UK Youth

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been developing partnerships with leading fashion retailers including Warehouse, Oasis, ASOS and Debenhams and a host of others to to promote the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust to their employees.

This week was a bit different because we met with Louis Bonney, from UK Youth at the Avon Tyrell Centre, New Forest. UK Youth is a brilliant national youth work charity supporting over 750,000 young people, helping them to raise their aspirations, realise their potential and have their achievements recognised via non-formal, accredited education programmes and activities.

Although we are only at the start of our partnership with UK Youth, we are really excited about the chance to spread the word about what we do, through their network of youth group leaders – potentially a great avenue to providing even more targeted educational grants to help support young people in need of a helping hand.

Are you a similar organisation with a network of people working with young people who could qualify for one of our grants – youth workers, social workers, school bursars, community engagement specialists? Please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
