Record visitor numbers at Textile Forum

Last week we were back as chosen charity Room Shotat Textile Forum, London’s premium fashion fabrics show, organised by FTCT ambassador, Linda Laderman. Relocated to the larger Venue One Marylebone, Textile Forum saw a record number of visitors, both UK and international, coming to view the new seasons collections.

The exhibition attracted a cross section of designers: from many fledglings to those working for major retail groups such as John Lewis, Harrods and Jack Wills and established designers including James Long, Jasper Conran and Ozwald Boetang.

“We were thrilled with the response to the new venue,” confirms co founder and organiser Linda Laderman. “We are going to build on the success next year and deliver an even greater selection of fabrics.”

We would like to say a huge thank you to Linda Laderman, for inviting us to be chosen charity for the show-we can’t wait to be back at Venue One for March’s show.

Our thanks also to Chris Boatswain, Blueberry Foods for very generously sponsoring the cupcakes which were sold in aid of FTCT, raising over £150.
