#RunJohnRun: John Chatwin braves the UK’s fastest marathon in aid of FTCT
This weekend, John Chatwin, Headhunter at ORESA will be running the Edinburgh Marathon in aid of FTCT.
Voted, “UK’s fastest Marathon” by Runners World, the 26.2 mile course will take in the historic sites of the city, including Holyrood Palace, Arthur’s Seat and the picturesque East Lothian coastline.
John told FTCT, “I’m a pretty regular club runner in my spare time, and decided to take on the challenge for the FTCT as it is a cause close to my heart. Not only do we, as a business (ORESA) work closely with the fashion industry, but I am a proud parent myself and have two young children.”
“I hope that by running the marathon I can help the FTCT to get a step closer to achieving their fantastic goals in 2016. As well as achieving £1k for the FTCT, my personal target is to complete the marathon under 3hrs 30, with my stretch target at 3hrs.20. Training has been going well so fingers crossed!”
Please help John reach his £1000 target and sponsor him today.
