Something blue: FTCT meets the bridal industry at BBEH

FTCT hit the road again this week, taking the FTCT stand to the British Bridal Exhibition (BBEH), in Harrogate, where we were chosen charity for the show. Attracting more than 250 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors, across the 3 day event, BBEH is the UK’s premier bridalwear trade show.
We were overwhelmed with the welcome we received from both visitors and exhibitors at the show, many of whom had previously not heard of FTCT, or the help we can give. With a full page advert in the show guide and FTCT donation pots on all the main entrance desks, no one could fail to notice our presence at the show. Our stand was buzzing throughout the show, with visitors and exhibitors, keen to learn more about both of our history and the types of support we can give.
It was great to meet so many new faces at the show. Like Andy from Tutu Le Monde, Patricia and Abbi from Natalie French and Carole, Sam and the team from Morgan Davies Bridal. Plus, with the help of BBEH’s friendly team of information staff, including Duncan (pictured), we raised a massive £215 through visitor donations.
We would like to say a big thank you to Wendy, Georgia and the whole team at BBEH for inviting us to be part of their wonderful show and for all their support in making this show such a success for FTCT. We would also like to say a big thank you to Patricia and Abbi from Natalie French, who left the show armed with one of our FTCT donation pots, set to take pride of place in their Linconshire store.
