Sweet success at BBEH
Last week, FTCT was back in Harrogate, as BBEH’S chosen charity for the second time this year. As the biggest show in the bridal trade calendar, BBEH gives us the perfect opportunity to meet and greet individuals whose children may need our help.
We would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone who generously gave a donation to FTCT at the entrance points and the sweetie cart (pictured), helping us to raise a whopping £216 across the three day show.
It was great to see lots of familiar faces at the show, from Attire Bridal, Heading Up, Richard Designs, Crystal Breeze, Veromia, Amanda Wyatt. Plus lots of new faces too, including Button Belle, Frilly Frocks and Lisa I’anson.
All those who visited the FTCT stand left with information on how our grants can help the children of people working in the UK fashion and textile industry. We are looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone we met at the show and hope to be able to help many more families working in the industry, as a result of the event.
As ever, we are indebted to Wendy Adams and the BBEH team for welcoming us back for their wonderful show. We can’t wait to be back, when it relocates to London next April and look forward to meeting many more parents and carers working in the bridal industry, who we may be able to help.
If you work in any aspect of the UK fashion and textile industry, including bridalwear, footwear or soft accessories and need financial help for your child, please contact Emma our grants co-ordinator, in confidence on 0300 123 9002.
