Kidz to Adultz North

Yesterday was a very busy day for FTCT standthe FTCT team, with not one but two major events!

Janet and Jill were up in Manchester for the Kidz to Adultz North show, one of the largest, FREE UK exhibitions dedicated to children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them.

The stand was buzzing for most of the day with visitors, ranging from parents, teachers Occupational Therapists, NHS, Children’s Services and Charities too, like Elaine from Caudwell Children (pictured with Jill on the stand).

Drapers Awards 2016

Meanwhile, Anna (pictured on stage) was joined Anna on stageby a fabulous team of volunteers for the Drapers Awards, at Old Billingsgate. Bidding frenzy in our silent auction whipped up a huge £13,000 in donations, with top prizes including an overnight stay at London Zoo’s Gir Lion Lodge, won by Brian Brick, CEO Moss Bros.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Your generous supports will enable us to fund many Kamilla and Isaacmore FTCT grants and continue to make a difference to the lives of families within our industry. None of this would have been possible of course without the on-going support of Keely, Laura and the whole Drapers team. We are honored to have been chosen charity again at this year’s event.

And finally, with buckets of enthusiasm huge and energy, the night wouldn’t have been such a success without the help of our amazing volunteers Ameena, Mary, Amy, Danielle, Jessie, Pippa and of course Kamilla and Isaac (pictured).
