Chair of Trustees

The Board is seeking to appoint a new Chair to work with them and FTCT’s Director to steer the charity through the next stage of its development. The successful appointee will be joining at an interesting and exciting juncture in FTCT’s history, as the charity is a well governed and respected organisation, with a clear mandate and purpose. Put simply, FTCT’s prime objective now is to give more money to more families in need.

Grants Support Worker role, (p/time, 3 days a week)

We are seeking a grants support worker to assist the grants co-ordinator in providing a professional, confidential and caring support service to parents / guardians who meet the charity’s eligibility criteria for help. This is a brand new role. We are looking for an individual who will be able to go the “extra mile” and be extremely flexible and adaptable.  There will be considerable contact with families by phone and in writing, to parents and carers. External and internal communication plus a high level of administrative skills are key to this role and the post holder must present a professional and helpful attitude in all dealings.

Marketing and Communications Assistant role (p/time 2 days a week)

We are seeking to recruit a part time Marketing and Communications Assistant, to work within a small team based in central London. This new and diverse role is ideal for someone with lots of energy who wants to learn about working in a charity and develop their professional skills across the marketing mix. The individual will need to be extremely versatile, adaptable and willing to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and be able to think on their feet. Communication is key to this role and the post holder must present a professional and helpful attitude in all dealings.
