Last night, a very special event took place IMG_8698at the Hobbs Covent Garden Flagship store. Business networking group, Women IN Retail, invited 50 special guests to indulge in some exclusive pre-season shopping, all in support of FTCT.

Hosted by Hobbs CEO (and FTCT Chair) Meg Lustman, guests were given the chance to shop their new AW2016 collection, with a percentage of sales going to support FTCT grants. Guests valiant shopping efforts helped to raise £299 for FTCT!

Fuelled by bubbly and delicious canapes from Paul’s Bakery, guests were also treated to a special insight into Meg’s own inspiring career path, in addition to trend highlights from the Hobbs buying and design team, and of course an introduction to FTCT’s work too!

Our Director Anna (pictured above, left) took the opportunity to announce that FTCT have granted funding to 218 children in the last 8 weeks (already more than the total number of children funded last year), with 159 of those children from families affected by the BHS store closures.

Guest’s left with their own FTCT gift, a USB gift box containing information about FTCT to pass on to their HR or directorial teams. And their fabulous Hobbs purchases of course!
