Could you take on a challenge fit for a superhero?

Look no further… FTCT is using its X-ray vision to find runners (or walkers) who can take on Do It For Charity’s 5k or 10k Super Hero challenge in London’s Regents Park on Sunday 13 May – in four weeks’ time!

There’s still time to sign up and prepare with a few practice runs and a sprint around to family, workmates and friends for donations. You can raise funds for FTCT grants for families working in the UK fashion and textiles industry who are in financial need.

Super hero teams of families who have received a grant in the past, supporters and volunteers are all welcome. It’s a fantastic day out! Here’s more information and how to sign up with us. Or contact the team for more information 0300 123 9002

About the event

The spirit of the Super Hero event is the ‘taking part’ not ‘winning’. You can walk, run or jog your way – with family and friends - around the 5k or 10k course options! Super mums and dads with buggies and wheelchair entrants are also welcome, as are children over the age of eight.

Every superhero runner will receive a FREE costume; that includes mini-runners too!

If you are in fashion or textiles, you are welcome to make your very own, one of a kind – outfit to wow the other superheroes or come as you are. You can dress up your dog as there’ll be prizes for the best dressed Super Pooch!

To enter the run, you will need to pay a registration fee of £25 and commit to raising a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. We’ll provide you with plenty of fundraising tips to guarantee your fundraising success!

Supporting families who work in the UK fashion and textile industry

Your fundraising will change the lives of the many children who receive a grant. Please take a look at how an FTCT grant has helped just a few of our very deserving families. There’s mum Alisha and daughter’s Tia and Jade, or James and his daughter, 12 year-old Emma.

A grant is a financial donation to families who are in financial crisis and can be used for essential equipment for their child. Grants are also available for children with additional needs. The grant does not have to be repaid. For full details, please visit the FTCT website.
