Awesome Santas raising funds for FTCT

There was no stopping our amazing FTCT Santas at the Do It For Charity's Santa Run yesterday. Enthusiastic in the drizzle and the mud in London’s Victoria Park but determined to take part, Santas from CVUK whizzed around the 5k course to raise money for FTCT grants. Well done to Trustee Vanessa (MD at CVUK) - a seasoned 5k runner for FTCT - her family and friends, and CVUK staff for their awesome efforts.

Our 2018 London Marathon runners were also there; Heidi Newman, Production Manager from Karen Millen and Chris Grounds, Head of Operations from Pep&Co joined in the fun and spirit of the event and donned their Santa suits to kick start their marathon training as well as an opportunity to meet each other and the FTCT team.

All in all it was a brilliant day and thank you to our Santas – especially our younger runners who did exceptionally well!

Want to get involved yourself?

Even though Santa, his elves and reindeers have packed themselves back off to Lapland, we have plenty of fundraising events you can get involved with, like the Super Hero run in May 2018. Now is the time to gather a swashbuckling super hero team.

Every entrant will receive a free super hero costume, but we welcome matching ‘bespoke’ capes – just like Hobbs – who raised over £2800 by fundraising with bake sales, Friday afternoon drinks trolley and collections at their stores around the country.
