On Monday, July 15, 2024, our CEO, Anna Pangbourne, participated in a special panel discussion at Pure London.

The panel was held in partnership with Pure x JATC, with representatives from our partners, namely Janine Jacobs, Co-Founder of HappyHQ, Jeannie Eden, Head of People Engagement at The White Company, Rachel Walker, CEO of Luxury Lockstitch, and Charmaine Higgins, People Operations Manager at Boden.

The session delved into how our partners have been enhancing employee wellbeing. The discussion highlighted successful wellbeing initiatives, the impact of inclusive work environments, and the crucial roles their partnerships with the Fashion & Textile Children's Trust play at prominent companies like The White Company, Boden, and Luxury Lockstitch.

Key highlights from the panel included the importance of employee feedback, which was collected through surveys and shared with teams to foster continuous improvement. The panel emphasised the creation of inclusive work environments, noting that authenticity and positive culture often start at the top, especially in smaller teams. Kindness, cultural care, and hiring the right people to uplift the team were emphasised as essential elements.

One of the ways they are enhancing employee wellbeing is through their partnerships with FTCT. One great example of this is Boden's yoga classes, in aid of the FTCT.

Boden offers yoga classes to employees for a small fee as part of a fundraising initiative, with all proceeds donated to FTCT. This allows employees to improve their wellbeing while also supporting a great cause.

Anna also highlighted FTCT’s Back to School campaign, which raises awareness about the costs associated with the new school year. Our campaign aims to rally donations to help children with essentials like school uniforms and study materials, alleviating the financial burden on families and supporting their wellbeing. All proceeds from the Back to School campaign go directly to these needs, ensuring children are equipped with everything necessary for the new school year.

FTCT is proud to be Pure x JATC’s chosen charity partner, and we look forward to being back at the show next year.
