I have worked less than 1 year in fashion and textiles To apply for an FTCT grant you must have worked in fashion or textiles for at least 1 year, within the last 9 years. This could be over consecutive years, combining two job roles. For example: You have worked in a clothes shop for 6 months and dry cleaners for 6 months. As long as you they were both within the last nine years and you have payslips and P60’s to show employment for both these jobs you could apply. The start of your employment must be after the 1st January of the ninth year and for 1+years thereafter. For example: We could accept an application if: Your start date was 1st January 2012 and your end date was 2nd February 2013. You would be able to apply for your child aged under 18 years, subject to you providing the requested supporting documents. We couldn't accept an application if: Your start date was 1st January 2007 and your end date was 2nd February 2008. You would sadly not be able to apply because you have only worked in fashion and textiles for 1 month within the last nine years. Still not sure?
