We are honoured to have received Royal patronage throughout the charity's 165 year history. Here is a snapshot of how that has looked over the years.

In 1866 the Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII, opened a small school in Purley, which had been funded by the charity.

Her Majesty The Queen became our patron in 1950.

In June 2016, we were privileged to join Her Majesty’s 90th  birthday celebrations at The Patron’s Lunch. Joined by beneficiaries and volunteers it was a wonderful way to celebrate with our patron.

It is an honor and privilege to have Her Majesty as Patron of our charity. We aim to make her proud of our work and send her regular updates of our impact.

Our supporters

We are very luck to have supporters across the industry. From our trustees, to our corporate sponsors and student volunteers, the difference they make to our charity is immeasurable.
