Supporting the Fashion & Textile Children's Trust

The British Textile Machinery Association (BTMA) is proud to be a supporting partner of the Fashion & Textile Children's Trust (FTCT), a charity that provides practical financial, emotional and educational support to people and families working in the UK fashion and textile industry during times of hardship.

On Sunday 6th September, Jason Kent, CEO of the BTMA, will take on the Manchester 100 Mile Cycle Ride to raise funds for FTCT.

The Manchester 100 is one of the North West's best-known sportives, starting and finishing at Wythenshawe Park and covering approximately 100 miles (164 km) through the beautiful Cheshire countryside. The route takes riders through Northwich, Delamere Forest, Nantwich and Middlewich before returning to Manchester, with over 3,000 feet (914 m) of climbing along the way.

The textile industry has always been built on a strong sense of community, and this ride is an opportunity to give something back to the people who make our industry what it is. Every pound raised will help FTCT continue its vital work, supporting individuals and families facing financial difficulty, illness or other unexpected challenges.
