Last night we were back at the Drapers Awards, THE celebration for the biggest names in the UK fashion retail industry. It was a glitzy, glamorous affair, held at the Hilton London Metropole. Thanks to generous guest donations, we raised over £7,200 to support our work.

Guests included companies from across the UK and Ireland’s Fashion Retail Industry. As charity partner for the event, we hosted a champagne draw and charity raffle with luxury prizes generously donated by our sponsors Waitrose, The White Company, Office, Hush Mayfair and Coals Office Restaurant.

Our incredible volunteers, Marianna, Sophie, Eve, Charlie, Jessica and Erushika (pictured above) gave their time to help guests donate on the night. It was non-stop for the whole event and we couldn't have done it without them.

Here at the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust we believe that every child should have the chance to thrive. With the rising cost of living creating even more worry for parents, grant enquiries have doubled in the last two months.

The money raised at yesterday's event will immediately be put towards buying life changing items for children this winter. From bedding to warm coats, washing machines to therapy. We hope all the raffle winners enjoy their prizes and thank everyone else for their huge generosity.

We would also like to mention a huge thank you to Drapers editor Jill Geoghegan and her team for their ongoing support. It is a huge honor to be Drapers' charity partner again this year.
