Support us Fundraising Our Donors Pavers Foundation donates £5k to FTCT The Pavers Foundation has donated on behalf of Graham Paver, £5,000 to our charity to assist our work, supporting families in the UK fashion and textile sector who are struggling financially to meet their child’s basic needs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Pavers, a retailer itself knows only to well the challenges faced by the coronavirus whilst its stores go through a period of temporary closure resulting in around 1700 of its employees being furloughed. During these incredibly difficult times Pavers furloughed colleagues are all being actively encouraged to help in any way they can in their local communities. The Pavers Foundation told us: "The donation to the charity during the sector’s hardest hit period in history, will enable the the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust to continue to provide grants for children whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile industry. The donation will go towards covering the cost of essential items such as clothing, shoes, bedding and household essentials, including white goods." Anna Pangbourne, Chief Executive of the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust said the following about the donation: “Enquiries to our charity have tripled in the last few weeks from families who are already feeling the devastating financial impact of Covid 19. This wonderful donation from Pavers, will enable us to reach out to families who have lost vital income and are struggling to pay for items that their children need, but they now cannot afford. We are truly indebted” The Pavers Foundation was established in 2018 and is proud to support the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust.
