Another fantastic Drapers Independent Awards. Huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners and thanks to all the guests for helping us to raise £1,900 for FTCT grants

The Drapers Independent Awards took place this week at the prestigious central London venue, The Brewery.  As chosen charity for the event, we were able to raise our  profile among all the guests, debuting our new short video, Martha's Story.

Martha's Story

Martha is 11 and has William's Syndrome, which causes medical problems, learning difficulties and issues with concentration. As a result Martha was unable to read at even a basic level, leaving her struggling behind her peers at school and dramatically reducing her chance of independent life in the future. That's why FTCT funded reading lessons for Martha, so she could learn this vital life-skill.

Our brilliant prize draw

On the day, guests took part in a £10 charity prize draw for a chance to win Afternoon Tea for Two at No Mans Fort, kindly donated by Solent Forts – an organisation who preserve this historical and beautiful fortress and the surrounding waters.

We raised a whopping £1,900.  These vital funds will help us to help many more children like Martha, whose parents work in the UK fashion and textile industry. You can help us too-Donate now.
